“In the studies that I
have examined on [peace-creating groups], I can find no methodological flaws,
and the findings have been consistent across a large number of replications. As
unlikely as the premise may sound, I think we have to take these studies
seriously.”

Robert Gurr, PhD A Peace Experiment In the summer of 1983 the war breaks out in Lebanon. A group of researchers organize an experiement to see if peace technology can impact the war: If war is based on the tension in the collective consciousness, then by reducing stress in the collective consciousness, the war is also reduced. Can peace experts reduce the tension? Is there a relationship between the number of peace experts gathered in a hotel in Jerusalem, and the intensity of the war in Lebanon? ![]() The scientists compose a quality of life index based on war deaths and injuries in Lebanon and fires, accidents, crime and stock market in Israel, all indicators of the harmony in the collective consciousness. The number of peace experts in the hotel and the the quality of life index follow each other like a couple dancing tango for two months, with a 76% reduction in war deaths as the number of peace experts peaks in Jerusalem. The probability of pure luck is 0.0001 or 1 in 10.000. This paradigm challenging study by legendary researchers Charles N.
